I’ve been researching @MidnightNtwrk and midnight-3:native pretty heavily since it launched, and the more I understand what they’re actually building, the more bullish I become.

I genuinely think buying $NIGHT this early could eventually feel like buying Bitcoin in its very early days.

Not because they’re the same thing, and obviously nothing guarantees the same returns. I’m talking about recognizing a technology before most people understand why it could matter.

Think about where the world is going.

Do we really believe banks, governments and major institutions are going to put all their financial and personal data permanently on transparent blockchains?

Of course not.

But I also don’t believe they’re going to move everything into completely opaque systems where compliance, AML checks, sanctions screening or investigations become impossible.

That’s why Midnight caught my attention.

The future, in my opinion, isn’t zero privacy or absolute anonymity.

It’s programmable PRIVACY.

Being able to prove what needs to be proven without exposing everything else.

That’s a massive difference.

Midnight is building around zero-knowledge proofs and selective disclosure, while $NIGHT itself remains transparent and generates $DUST to power private activity on the network.

And then I started looking at who is already around the ecosystem: Google Cloud, Worldpay, MoneyGram, Vodafone’s Pairpoint, eToro, Bullish and others.

That’s when my thesis really started clicking.

People keep talking about Monero and Zcash like governments and trillion-dollar financial institutions are suddenly going to give up all visibility and control.

LOL.

I don’t see that happening.

What I CAN see happening is institutions demanding privacy for their data while still having the ability to prove compliance when legally required.

And that’s exactly the middle ground Midnight is trying to build.

Maybe I’m wrong.

But after researching this project since launch, I think most people still have absolutely no idea what $NIGHT is positioned to become.

I’m accumulating accordingly. 🌙
