*taps glass* Announcement to people who drink: please don't "hilariously" recoil in horror when someone says they don't drink, and then ask them why not (it's none of your business). And definitely don't try to get them to have a drink anyway. (Are you actually insane?) 1/2

I blogged about MARK LAWRENCE and the accusations surrounding him. Please read it if you're part of the fantasy community, it's important. Any shares and reposts are very much appreciated, too. Thank you!

Typed a whole thread about this shitstorm and then gave up. I'm just so fucking pissed off. And sad, and disappointed, and kinda betrayed.

But mostly I'm grateful to anyone who has the guts to come forward with their experiences so this shit stops.

Sigh.

It feels like everything has been tainted.

But the light needs to shine on it, for things to change.

When you dare to point out that some innocent black people have been killed by police, and you get blocked. So much for having an adult conversation 🤷

And they call me a snowflake

Hubby and I are arguing. He says Avatar is fantasy, I say science fiction. Who's right?

(Me obvs)
