@edinhelp following the recent repairs carried out on Craigs Road are there any plans to repair the rest of the road. It's in terrible state, it's damaging cars and extremely dangerous for cyclists. I've recently had to replace 2 tyres due to damage caused by the roads.
@mikeyyygk @EFCevie You still seem to be asserting that the 11,000 were arrested for SM posts. They could have been arrested for a number of digital communication offences that weren't linked to SM e.g. 999 hoax calls. Whilst not charged some may have been cautioned.
@bmore05419@ScrikingBobs@docrussjackson@grok It covers a huge array of offences such as threatening emails, text messages, and crimes such as harassment, stalking, bomb threats, child porn, nuisance calls to 999, etc. It's completely inaccurate to say that 12,000 are being jailed for social media posts.
@GodsBegottenSun@DavyBaby777x@Halcruttenden Did you just ignore that it covers a huge array of offences such as threatening emails, text messages, and crimes such as harassment, stalking, bomb threats, child porn, nuisance calls to 999, etc. It's disingenuous to say that 12,000 are being jailed for social media posts.
@tmunkky@travelingflying As the replies show, I'm not the dimwit in this scenario. They've wildly misrepresented a stat and what it actually means aka propaganda.
@gbnstrike Also: *what about people who are key workers e.g. carers, nurses etc
* keeping kids off school??? Do you really not value education?
* not buying anything for one week will not have any impact on the economy. The sales before and after will just balance everything out.
@gbnstrike Just a few observations about this:
* not everyone gets paid when they're off sick. Those who only get SSP won't get any pay for the first 3 days.
* If your employer can prove that you are taking part in an unofficial strike and not genuinely off sick, you can be disciplined.
@JoshuaBradner @JoeyMannarinoUS Why jump to conclusions when you don't know the facts. As it turns out it was only one man. Speculation does not help the situation.
@TEKNOPUG@anon_opin I'm an HR Consultant, it tends to only be the larger corporates or public sector that can afford 6 months. Around 74% of private employers offer enhanced but that's typically 12 weeks
@therealmissjo London has always been a melting pot of cultures, it's helped shape it into a diverse and vibrant city. I'm Scottish and love the variety of cuisines that we can enjoy across the UK. I love sticky toffee pudding but I also love a bhuna!
