@im_man_magic@fillypepper@Keir_Starmer@UKLabour The Tories cynically put up a wreaking amendment for an enquiry, which would have killed a bill that amongst other things safeguarded children. A stunt, after they ignored recom’ns of previous enquiries for 14yrs. Labour are implementing those recom’ns & a new enquiry is ongoing.
How do you buy 4/5 properties with cash. Multiple properties over a six year period so you have £4m mortgage free property portfolio.
Then drink a pint and call yourself man of the people??
Get him out of our Politics
This man needs catching fast. This will not be his first or last time of approaching a girl to rape. It’s a good picture. Someone knows who he is!

@DarlingtonUnion Time for the govt to step in and relieve the Trust of their duties while they find some sane and competent individuals to replace them.
@implausibleblog So there’s your explanation for why some of the more radical desires of the left wing, requireing lots of money, haven’t happened yet. We had a pm who was making the hard decisions to get us there but not given time to finish the job. Burnham doesn’t have a magic wand, does he?
One of the many problems with countering lies is it takes two seconds to lie and a lot more effort to share truth.
The truth in this case is that 13 years ago some terrorists stole a USAID tent.
13 years later a trillionaire manipulates that photo to lie.
I'm going to bed.
As it turns out, the image was real.
Except it wasn't USAID funding terrorists or giving them tents, as Elon implied.
No, the photo was taken after terrorists raided Azaz depot on the border between Syria and Turkey.
They stole the tent, alongside a lot of food and weapons.
@fillypepper@PolitlcsUK@andyburnham Not to mention Manchester is more Midlands. If he wants to be in the north, why not Newcastle, or Durham? Funny how the new no. 10 is where he lives.
@dianamahon@DrChrisParry No, that’s untrue. MPs have spoken . The party isn’t getting a say. It was clear the press were after Keir from day 1 as he refused to feed them policy decisions in advance and certain MPs are more worried about careers than backing the manifesto they were voted in on. Shameful.
@dianamahon@DrChrisParry The PM was selected as leader of the Labour Party by the members and was voted in the GE to lead the country. It was democratic. Burnham’s rise is a coup, there is no other way to describe it, with the complicity of bullying MPs who are annointing him without ok from the members.
@macksypowwa The floofer. We cant remember why now, or who started it. But my kids were very embarrassed to discover when visiting houses of friends that this was not a universal name for it.
2 hours ago Tory MP Richard Holden posted this tweet👇🏼
I was the first person to reply to correct him - this was a Thatcher introduced law!
So he blocked me, hid all replies calling him out AND retweeted it himself🙄🙄🙄
@mandyarthur Israeli gov't ops in Gaza. UN Women: >38k women & girls killed Oct 2023–Dec 2025. Lancet est. ~23k children + 17k women among violent deaths. Far exceeds Ukraine (~10-15k total civilian deaths since 2022) or Sudan (mostly indirect/famine). No other matches reported scale.
