@toadmeister During Industrial Revolution the smog was often so bad sunlight struggled to get through so winters were much colder with more snow which reflected sunlight back. Are today’s temperatures therefore the norm due to cleaner air.

This is really important ..Folic acid is being added to many foods & is toxic for many & can increase the risks of certain cancers. Anyone with stents is also at risk. It is unnecessary to add this to our food. Please sign this petition.

In the UK right now, there’s a bid to mandate the ENTIRE population have synthetic folate introduced into their nations food supply.

They even want it in wholemeal flour.

But this scientist found a 2.6 x increased risk of prostate cancer from increased folic acid.

Jeremy Clarkson is campaigning for more screening.

That screening might end up doing MORE harm than good. Because the men get tested end up going down the road of standard of care treatments, causing life altering surgery, who would have only died WITH signs of prostate cancer... not FROM it.

The quality of life from standard of care is devastating:

Those 2 campaigns working in parallel, become a sort of Double Whammy.

A campaign mandating the entire population receive a synthetic product potentially increasing the rate of prostate cancer. The other campaign increasing the people found through screening, leading to life altering standard of care treatments.

It reminds me of that study in Sweden, showing more Sun exposure led to women living longer... but they push universal sunscreen use. And those women who lived longer didn’t die from Melanoma even though it was found more.

We need to get synthetic folic acid OUT of our flour, and the new fortification law repealed, but in the meantime please support this petition to allow consumers to choose.

PETITION - Ensure access to non-whole meal flour without folic acid fortification

"We call on the Government to amend the law to ensure there are at least one non-wholemeal flour option without folic acid fortification, and to exempt organic flour from mandatory folic acid fortification requirement from December 2026.

We believe this protects consumer choice and people who might need to avoid synthetic folic acid for health reasons.

Mandatory folic acid fortification affects the whole population, despite only a small proportion being at risk of issues due to a lack of folate, such as neural tube defects (NTDs) in unborn babies. NTDs only affect pregnancies, yet the entire population will be impacted. Some data suggests that NTDs can also stem from other causes, which folic acid cannot prevent. People should still have access to non-fortified and organic flour."

@ClareCraigPath I developed a wheat allergy in the last year, whilst in a very rural part of Spain I ate bread from the local bakery with no issues, so tried making my own bread when I got home, but had an immediate reaction again. Not sure if its the type of wheat, something sprayed or added?
