Exactly how God sees it when you say you’re too unholy to run back to Him. He will make you clean! You’re never too dirty to have a bath. Come to Jesus today🥺❤️:
One of the most dangerous things a believer can do right now is to neglect their prayer life.
The price for prayerlessness is too high. You become too vulnerable.
Believers, please prayyyyyy!
It doesn’t matter how long you’ve not prayed, start NOW! Fan that altar back.
Study the Word like your life depends on it. Because it does.
The Word is your sword. Your shield. Your lamp.
You cannot fight spiritual battles with a dull blade.
Sharp yourself daily in Scripture.
All who believe the gospel are not only saved by it, they are shaped by it. The same grace that forgives also transforms. “We are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works” (Ephesians 2:10).
Faith is not just confession with the lips. It is a life that begins to reflect what we claim to believe. “The one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked” (1 John 2:6).
This is not about earning salvation, but about living in a way that matches it. “Conduct yourselves in a manner worthy of the gospel of Christ” (Philippians 1:27).
So the gospel does not leave us where it found us. It changes our direction, our desires, and our conduct. If we believe it, it will be seen in how we live.
The story of the entire Bible is the story of grace. From beginning to end, it is God acting toward those who do not deserve it. Not man reaching up to God, but God coming down to man.
After the fall, God did not abandon. He promised. He pursued. He preserved. Every covenant, every sacrifice, every promise points to this one reality, that salvation is of the Lord. “By grace we have been saved through faith… it is the gift of God, not as a result of works” (Ephesians 2:8-9).
This is what sets the gospel apart. Not effort, not merit, not self improvement, but undeserved mercy. “He saved us, not on the basis of deeds which we have done in righteousness, but according to His mercy” (Titus 3:5).
Grace is not a side theme. It is the thread that holds everything together. Remove it, and the whole message collapses.
So the Bible is not ultimately about what we must do for God, but about what God has done for us in Christ.
I love how PF @pfemiolaleye painted the picture of the cross today at church. It drove it home again.
I’m thankful for the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross.
The gospel is so beautiful 🤍
I may sound naive or stupid and I am not unaware of how silly it may come off.
But I am very convinced that true believing Christians will bring about the catalytic change to every facet of Nigeria’s brokenness.
Again, I promise you, it’s not insanity. I’ve seen it, I know it.
I took my babe @_tolaniolaleye to watch ONOBIREN !
This is the very first time she is getting out of the house since she put to bed .
I missed taking my girl out and I am glad she loved the movie .
@lajuiren PL this movie needs to be submitted for international awards consideration.
It was so inspiring .
The story was so beautiful!
A woman rose and it was because other women supported her . The men in their lives were good role models and supported them fully !
I loved that you portrayed women in such a light . You showed that women support women .
And there are solid “Girl dads” like myself who will ensure our daughters have no barriers .
The Lord’s story teller !
I salute you !
One major pitfall a minister who understands theology in Nigeria is that he or she may become given to pride .
You will enter that trap of feeling superior to others .
In the end , your only reward will be what you think you know because even God will resist you .
We must seek knowledge but never allow it puff us up .
Amen .
@DreyNotes New bodies will be given after judgement, so the spirit and soul won’t be existing eternally in a different place while your new body stays somewhere else.
@DreyNotes There are other scriptures that let us know that when all men will be judged, they will be judged as a whole, the different parts of man’s nature won’t be in different places eternally.
