I think that’s probably a bigger issue.

And she has never claimed that people can’t voice their opinion (though I do fail to see where you see dishonesty). But nothing says that she has to engage with any of it either.

I would assume Wendy doesn’t want to talk to anyone right now that has previously made ugly accusations about her.

I also promise that if you watch my wife’s reporting, you will see nothing but truth and a genuine concern for all people and disdain for corruption.

But individuals do not have a guaranteed right to 24/7 access to her. She is human.

I do see a lot of ugly trolling behavior directed at my wife, which is exactly why I dislike social media. People don’t think about the consequences of their words anymore.

I’d ask the same from you, as you seem to be someone that cares about a right to privacy. And I hope that your efforts to engage civility are not discouraged by this. This world needs more civility.

If she blocked you, it was not personal. She just doesn’t have the bandwidth to engage with everyone and needs to protect her own serenity.

She is a professional and has a tremendous amount of integrity. What a wild ride it has been. I am sincerely thankful for all of it—even the hard times because, much like in the crazy sport of Track & Field, it is how we respond to difficulty that makes us who we are.
