🇺🇸 STATE DEPARTMENT TO SLASH 300+ OFFICES IN MAJOR REORG

The State Department is preparing to cut or consolidate more than 300 offices as part of a sweeping reorganization effort aimed at boosting efficiency and reducing bureaucratic sprawl.

NPR and three Colorado radio stations are suing the Trump administration, claiming their federal funding is being frozen as political retaliation for critical coverage.

The White House says taxpayer dollars shouldn’t fund biased media, and insists it’s within its rights to cut funding. NPR argues that while federal support makes up only ~1% of its national budget, local stations depend on it to survive. 💰

🧓 12.3 MILLION “120-Year-Olds” REMOVED FROM SOCIAL SECURITY ROLLS

After months of scrutiny, Social Security has officially removed 12.3 million individuals listed as age 120+, thanks to a sweeping cleanup effort led by DOGE.

📉 The process began in March, when DOGE first flagged 3.2 million suspect entries. By April, that number had ballooned to over 11 million, and now stands at 12.3 million.

⚠️ DOGE notes that some complex cases remain, including individuals with multiple birthdates on file. These will be handled in follow-up investigations.
