South Africa recorded 120 marches yesterday! Of the 120 marches, 108 were peaceful, while only 12 required police intervention.

•Eastern Cape: 28 peaceful, 2 violent 
•KwaZulu Natal: 21 peaceful, 2 violent 
• Gauteng: 13 peaceful, 1 violent.
• Limpopo: 12 peaceful.
• Mpumalanga: 9 peaceful, 1 violent
• Free State: 8 peaceful.
• North West: 8 peaceful.
• Western Cape: 6 peaceful, 4 violent 
• Northern Cape: 4 peaceful, 2 violent

Despite fears of widespread disorder, the overwhelming majority of demonstrations across South Africa remained peaceful.
