@ljlittleson@DuncanMhor This was the novel that my son (aged 10) read to his grandparents during lockdown, he was in Renfrew and they were in Wick. They did it over zoom everyday they did a chapter then talked about it. Great memories and a brilliant story.
I am so proud of this novel. It's aimed at children but can be enjoyed by anyone interested in the Titanic disaster. All the characters were real-life passengers or crew on the doomed ship and I did so much research to ensure I got my facts right! https://t.co/dzPpvrYDLU
CONNECT'S NEW PARENT/CARER SURVEY LAUNCHES - School Attendance: Hearing from Families about Supporting Children https://t.co/V7A4enx5pV It's complex & challenging for families if children & young people feel unable to go to school: we want to hear from parents & carers.
With the publication of the latest report from the Scottish Assembly of Parents and Carers we once again hear loud and clear the real life experiences of families across Scotland navigating a system that too often fails children with Additional Support Needs.
Update! The amazing Assembly members have been taking part in stakeholder engagement for the new Centre for Teaching Excellence; participating in a @scotgov survey on communication & Education Reform; agreeing key ‘asks’ from their additional support for learning work!
This is a very long way of saying absolutely nothing.
Disabled people know the PIP system is a nightmare. We know Labour's proposed changes will make it worse.
We know it will push people who are already struggling into poverty, and we know people will die as a result.
Parents & carers! Please take part in our latest survey on Travel to School! It's an important part of everyday family life - please tell us about your child's journey to school, how they travel & about your travel to school experiences. Closes 10 April. https://t.co/sIPcQTWUZW
