"People should be allowed to use spaces they feel most comfortable in."
So why aren't you allowing me to use a female-only space, as that is the space I feel most comfortable in?
"People should be allowed to us spaces in accordance with their 'gender identity'"
Then where are the spaces for "nonbinary" individuals or individuals of any of the other 50 or so "gender identities"? Where are the spaces for people like myself (and the majority of the human populace) who don't have a "gender identity"?
"A sign won't stop men from attacking women if they want to do so"
Then there is also no need for men pretending to be women to use the women's for their 'safety,' as men who want to attack them will do so anyway.
"There are stalls, so bathrooms are private"
Then men pretending to be women will have that same privacy in the stalls in the men's room.
"How would you enforce that?"
Social contract, and if we see someone walk in who is obviously male, we get security or call the police. There is no way to "enforce" spaces based on "gender-identity" since that is based entirely on a person's say-so.
"Would you want someone like this (shows woman on T) in the bathroom with you?"
Those women can already use the women's room. Actual men who look like that can also use the women's room as well, so that's a moot question.
"You're supporting segregation."
Absolutely, as are you. I would just like spaces segregated by sex and you would like them segregated by sex with exceptions for men and women who pretend to be the opposite sex.
If you're on a NHS waiting list somewhere, be comforted that in both Scotland and England they are spending literally millions of pounds on legal fees trying to force female nurses to get changed in front of men.
Ask yourself honestly & logically.. if 98% of sexual assault is male, almost exclusively onto female, if you allow men to self ID into women’s intimate spaces who will be at an increased risk?
Ed Davey accepts the Supreme Court judgement which clarifies that 'transwomen' are men for the purposes of the Equality Act. But he objects to the EHRC guidance on implementation because presumably women can have their laws as long as nobody takes any notice of them 🤷

Sydney Sweeney being naked with some footballs doesn’t set women’s sports back hundreds of years; however, letting men who pretend to be women play in them does.
The stupidest move trans activism ever made was trying to make 'trans women are women' the beginning and end of all argument. If your flagship motto is a self-evidently a lie, don't be surprised if people have questions. But this one comes a close second in idiocy. Trans people already have human rights. The problem is that they're demanding that women surrender theirs.
Every politician and celebrity still chanting ‘trans women are women’ should be asked how they square their loud commitment to ‘kindness’ with this inevitable end point. Explain how your ‘feminism’ led you here. Tell us why the abuse of these women is so unimportant to you.
A new petition in the UK which would “Require Government departments, NHS, education and publicly funded bodies to use the words women, girls, mothers and pregnant women as the primary and default wording in policies, guidance and public messages. These words must not be replaced, removed, diluted or overshadowed by alternative wording.
“We believe clear, sex-specific language is essential to safeguarding and safe healthcare for women, men and children, ensuring that biological differences, risks and needs are properly recognised and understood.”

I see that Stella Creasy is accusing me of leading a pitchfork mob against her, because I opined that she is less likeable and more hypocritical than the wild parakeet she mistook for an escaped pet.
For those who don’t know, Creasy is an elected politician and self-proclaimed ‘old-fashioned feminist’ who is ‘still fighting the patriarchy’. She’s more than once publicly defined herself against me (and my reaction was not to accuse her of leading a mob, even though I was probably averaging a dozen death threats a day at the point when the article below appeared.)
I thought it might be instructive for those of us who don’t share Creasy’s brand of ‘feminism’ to examine her campaigning record, so we can learn to do better.
Creasy wants women admitted to the male-only, exclusive, London-based private members Garrick Club, a change that would benefit rather privileged women like Creasy. Creasy is a mother who wants better accommodations for working mothers, a change that would benefit Creasy. Creasy takes selfies at a men-only Muslim march because that reminds everyone how non-racist she is, which benefits Creasy. Creasy asserts that ‘trans women are women’, which keeps her in good odour with her party’s most aggressive activists, and benefits Creasy.
However, keeping cross-dressing heterosexual men out of nurses’ changing rooms doesn’t benefit Creasy, because Creasy has never had to mop up other people’s piss, blood and vomit at work. Challenging the notion that a male basketball player becomes a girl if he says he is doesn’t benefit Creasy, who has no sporting ambitions. Speaking up against the patriarchy as practised by non-white men doesn’t benefit Creasy, who wants those selfie-opportunities. Criticising an ideological movement that persecutes, harasses and openly threatens women who don’t believe some women have penises wouldn't benefit Creasy, because she's already fully-signed up to self-id, where any man who says he's a woman must be taken at his word.
As the late Gloria Steinem said: ‘“Feminism has never been about getting a job for one woman. It's about making life more fair for women everywhere.’
Creasy the patriarchy-challenger is provably more than happy to cosy up to men and misogynist movements when it suits her public profile and career advancement, no matter the harms those men might be causing less privileged women. By Steinem’s definition, what Stella espouses is not feminism, but Creasyism, and I suggest the emblem for this brave new rights movement should be an indignant parakeet with severely ruffled feathers.

I notice people are suddenly worried about men in balaclavas. Funny how the same people never say a word when men in balaclavas target women at every @StandingforXX event.
this is what happens when you can’t define what a woman is. The word “woman” just ceases to exist when there’s no clear definition of it.
Women either have to share a bathroom with males. Or share a different bathroom with males. Or have no bathroom at all in this location.
One of the questions I was asked on @LBC the other night was what can 'normal' people do to help.
The answer, we need to turn the volume up to number 15, here's your chance, sign it, then get your family to sign it, your friends, your neighbours, the people in the next street over, turn the volume up to number 15.
The way they’re grinning as if them wearing Sainsbury’s uniforms is the most hilarious thing in the world, you can bet none of their children will be working in a supermarket for free
If you’re a woman in UNISON, stop paying your membership fees..
Your General Secretary is working to change the law to make it easier for men to declare themselves women..
An incarcerated male rapist who claims he’s a woman can get breast implants on the taxpayer’s dime, but a female inmate with breast cancer will be denied breast reconstruction during her incarceration.
Apparently for men who want them, having breasts is an important part of mental health. For women — well, who cares?
