Tonight in Buffalo NY, the singers microphone stopped working. Listen to them.
The CDN Govt wants us to turn our back on these people, and choose Beijing
When did respectful discussions and debates stop being the norm?
When did fear and emotion start driving the conversation instead of facts and principles?
When did disagreement turn into division, and different perspectives become something to dismiss rather than engage with?
When did we stop asking questions and start assuming motives?
And how do we reconcile that in a free, healthy and democratic society!?
What is also strange is how many, in discussing Alberta independence, have fixated on the end result or dismissed it entirely, while skipping over the most important part: the process—the buy-in, the debates, the discussions, the negotiations. That process alone is a meaningful opportunity for Alberta and Albertans to learn, engage, and grow. At its core, this is about Albertans shaping their own future. If it is the will of the people, that is what will guide the outcome.
Self-determination means people decide their own political future. If Albertans choose independence, they will also decide what follows, through democratic processes that shape their constitution, laws, and institutions.
It is also interesting to see many outside of Alberta convinced they already have the answer. At a minimum I trust Albertans recognize that relying on others to define our path is part of what brought us here in the first place!
This moment, whatever direction it ultimately takes, is an opportunity to think for ourselves, engage meaningfully, and take ownership over our future.
We all get to be a voice in what is clearly a necessary discussion and that is what excites me the most!
Mr. Prime Minister—you are getting up to $9 billion in windfall revenues from high oil prices. That money does not belong to you.
Give it back.
Stop taxing gas. Save families $1200 at the pumps this year.
Reminder before we get into fire season that the federal gov of canada has not added 1 new water bomber, either thru leases or outright purchase to fight fires in canada.
so when you see another japser unfold remember they are forcing this to happen, as they won't in any meaningful way engage fires or proper forest management
The Nenshi/Gondek legacy-criminal…
Going back a decade, Calgary has been taking out more than $100 million a year in user fees from its water utility and putting that money into general revenues, where it can be spent on whatever might set city hall’s heart aflutter. Given the trouble Calgary has been having with its water system lately, it’s a budgetary shell game with very serious consequences
On April 1, 2026, (tomorrow) Canadians will face a 2% federal excise tax increase on beer, wine, and other alcohol. The industrial carbon tax is set to rise 16%, which will also raise consumer prices and federal payroll taxes for CPP and EI will increase.
Fortunately we can rest easy knowing that on the same day Mark Carney is getting a $17,600 dollar increase & all Federal MP’s are receiving an $8800 increase & Ministers are receiving a $13000 thousand dollar increase.
We are and always will be the fools on April fools day under the Liberal Government.
I can’t even anymore… How many embarrassing Canadian moments have gone viral this week alone?
An NDP convention consumed by ideological posturing, where purity tests matter more than practical solutions for Canadians.
An awards show, the Junos, that felt less like a celebration of music and more like a publicly funded service announcement, pushing messaging instead of showcasing artists.
And now, in the middle of a fatal aviation tragedy, the national conversation shifts from pilot deaths to language politics.
At some point, you have to ask:
What are we actually prioritizing?
Because this is not a distraction anymore. It’s a pattern.
We are choosing optics over reality. Narratives over facts. Performative debates over serious issues that actually affect people’s lives.
And if we can’t even focus on loss of life without turning it into a political talking point, then something is deeply off.
Not just with our institutions, but with us.
Because if we can’t tell what matters anymore, we shouldn’t be surprised when nothing does.
On April 1st 38 million Canadians will get a 23% increase on the carbon tax, while 457 million other people living on the same piece of land pay nothing, yet our Government tells us we're altering the worlds climate with it.
Good one.
The reality is American oil companies funded campaigns to block Canadian Oil and Liberals like Trudeau and @MarkJCarney were happy to
ban tankers from the BC coast, to appease activists.
Meanwhile, American tankers travel down the BC coast uncontested.
"If the fact that U.S. food inflation is less than half of Canada’s isn’t a wake-up call for Ottawa, I don’t know what is. And remember—tariffs are inflationary by nature. If anything, they should have pushed food prices even higher in the U.S., not kept them lower than ours."
