#iPLEDGE Here’s a thought… give pharmacies emergency approval to fill these scripts and put faith back in to the Providers and Pharmacies for patient care!!! Our patients need their scripts now, and shouldn’t have to wait because our government messed up the process!

And today ipledge was out again! insane! Are pts ever going to get their meds??The FDA needs to allow pharmacies to dispense now!!!! #ipledge

@tracydawn00 @biotchota If instructed by the @US_FDA, pharmacies can release your #accutane meds w/o iPledge.
Call FDA at 888-463-6332 (M-F 8am-4:30pm EST) & hit prompt 3, 2, 4. Tell the FDA agent to suspend #iPledge program #immediately so that patients can get their meds.

@DrJohnBarbieri They talk about depression as a side effect of accutane…… well severe acne causes depression and social anxiety. The entire Ipledge system is ridiculous & time consuming. There are many other drugs that may cause the same side effects and pregnancy contraindicated.

We as physicians and healthcare providers are more than capable of educating patients on pregnancy risk and contraception and appropriately monitoring during treatment. We DO NOT NEED #iPLEDGE.

@jasonbarnette @US_FDA Patients are upset & rightfully so. Why do we have to jump through hoops of incompetence? Providers don’t have time for nonsense. There are many other drugs such as biologics with the risk of causing cancer. There is no ipledge for that! FDA wake up! Stop this political process!
