Madame Vice President you ran a great campaign. In 107 days you introduced yourself to the American people and defined what disqualified your opponent. You raised a billion dollars within a matter of days and put together a coalition of the most diverse group of American citizenry. You presented a measure of hope and optimism while displaying intelligence and discipline. You were pragmatic, deliberate, insightful, inspiring, and positive. You were the epitome of a political scientist and your campaign left everything on the field. You were our last best hope for an American aesthetic that millions of us are in pursuit of. I am honored to have been a part of this campaign and I look forward to working with you further to protect our democracy and form a more perfect union. May the ancestors give you enlightenment. May God continue to bless you all the days of your life. Thank you for your service.
It took several days to count every ballot in 2020, and it’s very likely we won’t know the outcome tonight either. So please keep a few things in mind as you make your voice heard today:
– Thousands of election workers around the country are working hard today. Respect them. Thank them.
– Don’t share things before checking your sources.
– Let the process run its course. It takes time to count every ballot.
.@MichelleObama: I hope that you will forgive me if I'm a little angry that we are indifferent to Donald Trump’s erratic behavior. His obvious mental decline, his history as a convicted felon, a known slumlord, a predator found liable for sexual abuse. All of this while we pick apart Kamala's answers from interviews that he doesn't even have the courage to do
Former Republican Lieutenant Governor of Georgia, Geoff Duncan just gave the most powerful speech yet at the DNC.
He just called his fellow Republicans a “cult”.
Michelle Obama: "For years, Donald Trump did everything in his power to try to make people fear us. See, his limited narrow view of the world made him feel threatened by the existence of 2 hard-working highly educated successful people who happened to be Black."
Michelle Obama: She understands that most of us will never be afforded the grace of failing forward. We will never benefit from the affirmative action of generational wealth.
You cannot call yourself an “ally” and vote for people who attack, target and discriminate your friends. Being an ally means standing in solidarity at all times - including elections. Vote like an ally. 🏳️🌈🏳️🌈🏳️🌈
