Cerra stared anxiously out the front window at the wall of the docking bay. Slowly that wall began to rise. The pulsar beams were pushing them out of the ship.
As they sank beneath floor level, space opened up around them.

She closed her eyes and took another breath, drawing it deep into her lungs. A profound sense of #peace filled her, pulsing out against the boundaries of her skin.

Pre-colonization Glass Gem Corn, Indigenous to North America, regrown by a Cherokee farmer in Oklahoma. This particular corn is a mix of ancient Pawnee, Osage and Cherokee varieties.
A slight hum started up, accompanied by a nearly imperceptible vibration. A spark flashed in front of the window, followed by another. Cerra gave Willis a questioning look.
“Ever flown atmospheric?”
Cerra shrugged. “Just #commercial flights.”
