Indian stock exchanges are closed today for Mumbai's municipal elections.

The fact that our exchanges, which have international linkages, are shut down for a local municipal election shows poor planning and a serious lack of appreciation for second-order effects.

As Munger said: "Show me the incentive, and I will show you the outcome."
The holiday exists because no one who matters has any incentive to oppose the market holiday.

It also tells you how far we have to go before global investors take us seriously.

I give such Kaju Katli boxes to every delivery guy from Zomato, Swiggy, Blinkit, Amazon etc, who comes to our house during the week of Diwali.

In last 3 days, 14 delivery men came, 11 were happy, elated, wished us back, hugged with tears of joy etc.

3 didn’t accept and grinned. In fact didn’t even wish back and left.

Guess who were they?

Yesterday, when Pakistan violated the ceasefire, drones hit Srinagar, and maybe even Vaishnodevi.
News channels were showing it. Tweets were out. CM Omar Abdullah tweeted. It was out there.

Then suddenly - a Silence.
News vanished. Tweets deleted. Army said “nothing happened.”
Even MEA’s press briefing felt soft, weird, and fishy.

Now remember and think.

India had hit Pakistan’s nuclear sites. And that’s shattered Pakistan. That broke something inside them. That’s why they went crazy. That’s why they called ceasefire. But not for peace.

Pakistan was about to push the button.

Probably, they threatened India on the DGMO call.
Probably, they told the US too - “We’ll use it.”

America stepped in. Forced everyone to stop.

India was cornered.
Not by fear - but by what was coming. A full-scale nuclear exchange.

And that’s why everything got buried.
Because if the world found out how close we were, global panic would begin.

One more thing:
Pakistan’s been reporting repeated 4.0 earthquakes for months - same regions.
Same magnitude. Same pattern.
That’s not natural.

Probably that’s nuke-related activity.
And India must’ve known.

Now it all makes sense.

Ceasefire wasn’t weakness.
It was standing on the edge of the cliff - and taking a step back was must.

And now they’ve broken it again.

Just wait.
This game is not over.
It’s only paused.

Pakistan has got a reprieve from India. It is conditional depending on Pakistan’s behaviour. Any terror act in future would be deemed to be act of war and Pakistan would be severely punished.

In this eventful week, India has shown it's might. Has called Pakistan’s nuclear bluff. Significantly damaged Pakistan’s military assets. Destroyed Pakistan’s offensive and defensive capabilities. Pakistan has suffered unsustainable losses. It's major terrorist infrastructures dismantled. More than 100 hardcore terrorists killed. Multiple airbases destroyed. Air defense systems destroyed.

World has taken a note of India’s strength. China would no longer underestimate us. We've shown how inferior Chinese defense equipments are. Minnows like Bangladesh would permanently shut their mouth.

Attacking and destroying military capabilities of a nuclear power needs lot of guts. Our enemies would now fear us.

I don't trust Pakistan. They would definitely try to avenge this humiliation. I expected a permanent fullstop for Pakistan during the current conflict. I believe it has only been deferred. Pakistan’s destruction would be at the hand of India only. The only way to prevent this is for Pakistan to behave well. I don't think that country is wired for good behaviour. It's a rogue state.
