We just released an update and recommend everyone to upgrade:

pip install -U dynex

Changes:
+ All internal functions prepended with “_” for automatic Sphinx documentation
+ Removed exception if dynex.ini not present, now only showing warning and link to configuration guide
+ test-net sampling: using maximum on GPU fitting chips now, independently of num_reads
+ Added “boost job priority <coming soon>” during sampling

NEW: Mode-Assisted Unsupervised Quantum-Restricted-Boltzmann-Machine (MA-QRBM) for PyTorch 🔥🔥

We just released a first version of a PyTorch compatible class for mode-assisted quantum restricted Boltzmann machines (MAQRBM) for our #Dynex #SDK. The MARBM provides a novel approach to training RBMs by combining the standard gradient updates with an off-gradient direction. This direction is constructed using samples from the RBM ground state, also referred to as ‘mode’. By utilizing mode-assisted training, the RBM benefits from faster convergence, improved training stability, and lower converged relative entropy (KL divergence).
