Joined @TheParagonGrp recently. I have been in crypto from 2021 Oct, but initial 3 years as a developer. During this time without knowing anything about trading, did several spot buys and trades and totally I lost good amount of money.
I really want to participate in the conversations that is going on lol. But for that I need to learn a lot of things first. Slowly I will get there. Glad to see a bunch of great people with whom I can hopefully learn a lot. Shout out to everyone who shows up everyday and grind.
The amount of information that's available in the group is just insane. And it is really difficult to just catch up with all the conversations that is happening in the group! But I am loving it. Started from basics and planning to finish all videos available gradually.
Was really getting into a good flow with trading. Learning new stuff, testing strategies, watching great traders, and actually enjoying the process.
Then layoffs happened, and Iโve got to hit pause for now and focus on finding a job.
Hopefully back to charts soon ๐
For a newbie it is really difficult to come up with a strategy, and it is even more difficult to know whether the strategy has edge. One day it feels like everything is working so well and next day completely opposite. But still have to stick with it to gather enough data.
As a new trader, the biggest problem that I face is how to find an edge. Everyone talks about edge and strategy. But I still have no idea how to come up with one. I think the best thing to do as a beginner is to follow great traders, until you get a hang of things.
I have been learning trading for the past 1 year. Got into it when @Trader_XO started his trading mentorship. Over the last 2-3 years I have taken several trades without any understanding and obviously almost all of them ended up in losses.
When @Trader_XO talks about discipline and following the rules and playbook, I used to think how difficult it can be, but now I understand it's not easy.
Huge respect to @Trader_XO for all that you do and the mentorship
