Producción de plata: ~800 millones de onzas/año

Esto es lo que descubrí:

Ayer, la plata alcanzó los 92 dólares. Luego cayó más del 6 % en pocos minutos, volvió a subir a alrededor de 91 dólares y ahora se desploma de nuevo.

Llevo 20 años en estos mercados. La mayoría de la gente ve una corrección normal, pero yo veo una TRAMPA.

A $ 90 / oz, su posición corta combinada ahora representa un pasivo de aproximadamente $ 390 MIL MILLONES.

Eso es más grande que la capitalización de mercado de la mayoría de los bancos globales.

El costo de tomar prestada plata física se está disparando.

Estamos en RETROCESO.

Precio al contado > Precio de futuros.

Significa que la gente no quiere una promesa en papel en 6 meses, quieren el metal AHORA.

LAS MATEMÁTICAS SON TERMINALES:

Sabemos que los pantalones cortos pesan 4,4 mil millones de onzas.
Sabemos que la extracción anual es de aproximadamente 800 millones de onzas.

Pero a partir de 90 dólares, el suministro de material reciclable se agota porque la gente lo acumula.
Y la demanda industrial (chips de IA, energía solar, vehículos eléctricos) es inelástica: deben comprar a cualquier precio para mantener las fábricas en funcionamiento.
