Had an A+ setup fail earlier...
What did I do wrong?
Nothing
Sometimes there is no lesson to learn
You pay tuition
Accept this and trading becomes much more peaceful
Many traders were blessed during the last 24 hours by the lovely market volatilty. Congrats to those who made a killing!
For those asking how they should approach the market for the coming days, please see below :)
"Mike im trading with $100 how do I grow it"
Don't bother
Spend on a prop firm aquire capital or save
I'm not one of these furus that will sell you a dream folks
You need capital
If you don't have at least 1k or 2k saved then don't bother
In the IG and x bubble it seems like you are behind
Because you are either seeing two things
The absolute top 1% killers in society making bank
Or the other crowd which are cons just pretending
The average day to day person doesn't have even 1,000 in savings
Never forget
If you can make 10 dollars profit consistently...
You can touch millions
There is no secret...
Focus on your process
Stat consistent
Compound
And you will have it
Most crypto folks have no edge
No psychology
No risk management
And expect to become magically wealthy
That's some Disney shit
Nothing comes that easy
If it does...it won't last
Two FATAL mistakes that'll DESTROY your trading account:
1. Moving stops because you're HOPING price will save you
2. Taking profits early because you NEED to feel "right"
Both feel good in the moment...
But they're POISON for your long-term success.
Stop trading your emotions.
START trading your plan.
The market doesn't care about your feelings.
Deep psychology lesson
But this is why you lose money
This is why you stay losing money
Read all of this and we will uncover your problem
You stay in this loop of destructive mistakes because you are comfortable there
On a conscious level you may say you want to be disciplined
You want financial freedom
You want to retire your fam
But on an unconscious level you are not ready
You may think "what do you mean im not ready I don't like losing money Mike"
It goes deeper than that
That is your comfort zone
Everything we do revolves around feelings
You are addicted to a feeling
You stay unprofitable because you are use to that feeling and it is predictable
You say you want to be consistent but you are afraid
That is the unknown
And when you are met with new emotions after being in this loop of destruction for so long your brain is confused
It's outside your comfort zone
You have built these patterns in your brain to predict a certain outcome so when you are met with something out of the ordinary that is when alot of you sabotage
I know you have been in that place where you are doing so good so consistent and then you just throw it all away and then you look up and think "wtf did I do"
You went on autopilot
You have a program in your brain that took over a certain set of patterns that you reverted to
That feeling I was talking about
Familiar misery
You hate it but at the same time you are comfortable there and would rather stay there then venture into the unknown because on an unconscious level you think "that isn't me"
but that is a lie you tell yourself
That lower nature that degen we call it
It takes about a month to develop those new patterns in your brain
So the beginning is going to be the hardest
But once you get over that hurdle it becomes easier
You need to be mindful
You need to be aware of the issue and that is the point of this post
because when you are aware it can not manipulate you from the dark anymore
You shine a flashlight on it
It will be uncomfortable
But it will be worth it
Redirect focus consistently again again and again
And it will happen
You will break through that wall
Consistency is the most powerful force on earth
Done long enough your brain will rewire
And you will be thinking like a winner
And the results will follow
Price action is the only truth.
Your opinions, politics, and predictions don’t matter.
The market shows its hand early, through leaders that resist breakdowns and reclaim key levels.
Watch them. Follow them. Trade them.
Funded Next banned me for life.
All because I withdrew $56,000 from them. 🤷🏽♂️
I thought prop firms loved profitable traders? So what happened here?
They deactivated my $300K account, didn’t pay me $5,000 from my last payout, and started hitting me with all kinds of problems.
But hey… we move.
Lesson learned. Bigger things ahead. 🦅
@FundedNext come and explain yourself
There's a proven method for success in trading.
And it's not a secret that nobody wants to share.
In fact, that method is in plain sight:
1. Specialize―know your market, timeframe, etc.
2. Control your risk
3. Mind your psychology
4. Have a process
5. Stay in the game
