Islamic preacher calls on followers to take up arms against enemies in vile sermon at Australian mosque.

In a vile sermon shared on the Al Bayyinah Islamic Centre's social media channels in July, Brother Abu Ahmad warned followers not to 'take the Jews and the Christians for friends' and to declare enmity 'for the sake of Allah'.

'It is to declare opposition: indeed, to take up arms against his enemies, to shun them and to stay far from them both in word and deed,' he said.

This proves that simple opposition of the spirit is not enough and that it must be complete by honouring of your commitment.

'If the aim of the enemies of Islam whether they are atheists or Jews or Christians or modernists or Zionists or communists is the emasculation of … Muslims, and the erosion of their unique character in order to make them the ass of the chosen people … then the urgency of this issue should become clear to every Muslim.'

The Al Bayyinah centre is located in Springvale in Melbourne's southeast and regularly posts content featuring preachers from across Australia.

An affiliated account called Station of the Seekers, which now appears to be inactive, posted content that included sermons by Islamic State sympathisers.

Controversial preacher Wisam Haddad has also been linked to Sydney's Al Madina Dawah Centre, which alleged Bondi shooters Sajid and Naveed Akram reportedly attended on multiple occasions.
