People ask why I post waves so often. Here is the real answer
It is how everything moves. Not just markets. Everything. Price moves in waves, the soul moves in waves, the whole of a human life moves in waves.
We rise and we fall, we plant and we harvest, the tide comes in and the tide goes out, and none of it was ever meant to last, because none of it ever has
Eminescu wrote it better than I ever could, a hundred and fifty years ago:
Vreme trece, vreme vine,
Toate-s vechi și nouă toate.
Time passes, time arrives. Everything is old and everything is new. The markets you are watching today were watched, in a different form, by people long dead, and they moved the same way, driven by the same fear and the same greed.
Nothing about the human being has changed
He also wrote the line every trader should carry:
Tu așează-te deoparte,
Regăsindu-te pe tine.
Set yourself apart. Find yourself again - Observe!
While the crowd chases every move, panics at every low and celebrates every high, the one who steps back and stays centered is the one who actually sees the wave for what it is.
A cycle. A season. Something that arrives, does its work, and passes
That is why I post the waves
To remember that everything I am living right now, the good and the hard, is one point on a curve that has been turning since long before me and will keep turning long after.
Stop panicking at the bottoms
Stop getting arrogant at the tops
Read where you are in the cycle and act accordingly
That is trading. That is also just life
Be humble, be good, spread love and be kind
@BigCheds To lose money in a trade (planned trade with entry, SL and TP) is just cost of doing business.. we can mitigate the risk but we cannot eliminate the risk of SL from a trade
Simply put ... as in any business we have expenses...( controlled expenses)
Alt coins still aren't ready to have a major up move. Charts are all bearish for now, although most of them are deeply oversold. People are convinced they are dead. Maybe, but even the junk has it's day in the sun. Patience.
$PYPL I'm buying these levels. I don't care about the fundamentals of the company. I buy dips into key zones, then sell the rips. A couple of bounces will create a free position and then I will hold that core long term and sell half on a 2X along the way.
$NIO in the reload zone and now 2 large gaps this week as well as a potential close above a key level. I will be buying on pullbacks from here. This is looking promising.
$BTC why I bought a bit yesterday: Price came into the 618 fib zone as well as a long term demand area. It may bounce and go down further, but this is a great zone to DCA if you're a longer term investor.
$ES dodging the bullet today. A close below this weekly key level would be a sell signal for me. OBV divergence and RSI showing some signs of weakness, but I will remain long as long as price doesn't confirm. The plan works. I follow the plan. I have zero opinions.
$BTC getting to a place where buying makes sense. Weekly RSI is at levels where big bounces come from. I'm personally buying $COIN and $IREN and $MSTR at these levels. Might work, might not. Zero Fs either way.
$AG buying for long term. My favorite silver miner, and where I made my first fortune 15 years ago. (I lost the entire thing in the end, but learned some good lessons).
Despite the bounce in Alt Coins, I have no long term weekly setups firing just yet. Some look close, but still nothing concrete. Be ready for more downside.
Too many traders get sucked into news as their basis for taking trades. You should only be following price action. News is just there to create emotions. If price isn’t reacting, neither should you. If price signals a setup long or short, you execute the trade.
$XCN up over 100% from the mention the other day. I don't pretend to "know" what's going to happen, but I do know key areas where price will likely bounce from. Seems they front ran that candle wick a bit, which tends to happen.
$XCN time to reload on this name. Many made a fortune on that last run, only to give it all back. This is why you sell some in profit, and then buy back if it comes down again. Don't be too greedy. It's okay to get rich slowly and book profits little by little.
@Stefan_B_Trades called it on the Alt Coins. We've got some nice moves from bottoms now, and if you aren't in these names, not to worry. On weekly many of these names have not confirmed long term bottoms (based on my system), so we have time before adding heavy.
