I like theme parks and vid game basically, but not in a way that makes me weird for it, maybe. Resident Flying Ace. Never pays off Animal Crossing loans. He/Him
@BrerOswald I really found the craziest thing about Rome to be the trees. Like, you see them with the ruins in the background and it just feels so exactly like it's meant to that it's bizarre. I never thought about them until I got there and it's like, yes, they are perfect.
I do wish they'd start letting imagineers make new ideas rather than just having them constantly tinker with the classics. This doesn't do anything for the experience except mess with the narrative quite a lot?

I've largely gone quiet here but boy oh boy am I excited to see these three things (as part of 2.5 weeks in Japan I am not full Disney adulting I swear)
@DrewTheDude123 It’s funny, I would do it differently by adding ropes and making sure people stand in a line during the preshows lol
Would probably improve the flow after the pre-shows as well
@BrerOswald I felt like it both really captured the visual overwhelm that would inevitably come from being transported to a video game, but then became really confusing to navigate because of it. It’s really hard to look around and identify what is where, which is really odd in a theme park
@BrerOswald It gets a bunch of appreciation and yet still feels super, super underrated. It’s well designed top to bottom - and an absolute people eater! Modern masterpiece.
@futureport82 I did the St Peter's Basilica before the museum and it was astounding how you could just wander around and find things and every corner you went to had something impressive. And then the museum was a cramped march for 45 minutes, it was such a shame.
