If most of the residents stop engagement farming& instead work +study hard during residency it will serve them well. I am shocked at the way residents& MBBS students are behaving on social media. A wise word - what's on the internet stays forever and can come to haunt you later
SHOCKING in Prayagraj!
A Resident Doctor from Surgery Dept, MLN Medical College, was allegedly arrested from home without any warrant after the strike was called off — despite no institutional FIR protection for doctors.
Targeting doctors serving patients is unacceptable.
Release Dr. Monish NOW!

Dr Monish Ali a Resident Doctor at MLN Medical College Prayagraj was reportedly taken into custody from his home.
This is deeply concerning and demands immediate clarification.
Urge @Uppolice to intervene and ensure transparency.

A video showing doctor at LG Hospital resting on ICU beds has gone viral, prompting the #Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) to order an investigation.
However, Doctors are humans too. During 48-hour duty shifts, if patients are stable and beds are unoccupied, taking short rest breaks is not negligence , it’s necessity.

A Health Minister is supposed to fix government hospitals, infrastructure, staff shortages, and patient care.
Instead, inaugurating private hospital facilities while public hospitals struggle for beds and basic equipment. Meanwhile treatment costs in private hospitals keep skyrocketing and ordinary patients are pushed into debt. Public health neglected, private expansion celebrated.
What a shame.
If you come across this video on SM, you can hear the man saying “my mother is an ONCOLOGIST, and I will make your life a living hell.”
To which she replies -“You can do whatever you want, I am habitual of hell.”
With constant threats & verbal abuse by relatives of such “Oncologists”, the struggle for hoping decent Doctors and not -40 ones, the deprivation of sleep & rest, I can understand why this young Anaesthesiologist is habitual to hell.
Being in healthcare in this Swarn Bharat of 2026, it is hell. But you know, what is in hell?
Unrequited fire. Let us hope, that thin level of patience is not tested more or this hell-fire will consume this country.
A first-year resident chose Obs & Gyn at KGMU Lucknow knowing the work would be brutal.
Sleepless nights. Emergencies. Blood. Pressure.
She signed up for hard work.
She did not sign up to be humiliated from Day 1.
No orientation.
Only shouting.
Public shaming.
Mocked for her language.
Mocked for where she came from.
Given responsibility without teaching,
then punished for mistakes she was set up to make.
Let’s be clear:
👉 This is not training.
👉 This is ragging.
👉 This is institutional abuse.
She didn’t quit because she was weak.
She quit because self-respect and mental health are non-negotiable.
If this made you uncomfortable to read,
imagine living it every single day.
And to every resident who has survived this silently —
your pain is real.
Your voice matters.
You don’t build great doctors by breaking humans.
You only build a rotting system that eats its own.

There was this time when picking MS Ortho used to be one of the most prestigious thing. Only top rankers used to get that.
Now someone with 4/800 marks has got that. These doctors are going to operate you & your relatives after 3 years.
