putin wants to restore Russia's imperial status. His rhetoric questions not only the sovereignty of Ukraine, but also that of other neighbors – Finland and the Baltic states, the foreign publication states. War is a means of maintaining power and control and mobilizing society.

Russia is not ready for a full-scale war against NATO, but in six months it could be ready to attack a Baltic country, and in two years for a limited war against several countries.

And Europe continues to buy gas and steel from Russia, thereby financing putin's war preparations.

Note that the 🇨🇳 People’s Republic of China (founded in 1949) didn’t even exist when the Cairo Declaration (1943) and Potsdam Proclamation (1945) were made.
