I am a criminal defense attorney and have defended hundreds of homeless people. In almost all cases, drugs were involved and the family was - tbf - fed up with their sh**.
I’ve been “homeless” before briefly. I couch surfed. These people have burnt those bridges w/ addiction
If you want to hear some real anti-homeless takes, talk to people who have family members who are homeless. They will, often, have very little sympathy and tell you how they have helped them for years, they burned 1000 bridges, are choosing it, how they are not perfect “victims”
Millennial Catholic families be like "Hi I'm Brittney. These are my kids Perpetua, Sebastian, Severinus, Adelaide, and Maris Stella. And this my husband Kevin."
I messaged a mate in Hereford last night to see if he knew the complainant and got the following back:
“Yeah, a couple of the lads shagged her then binned her when they realised she was totally mental”
Which feels like very important missing context for a story with national security implications.
EXCLUSIVE: Special forces soldiers believe they are “untouchable” and not all of them are the heroes they think they are, according to a former female civil servant who worked alongside them.
Monica Grenfell, who was employed at the Special Air Service (SAS) headquarters in Credenhill, near Hereford, for three years, said some of the elite troops were “feral” and it was “the nasty characters who really ruled the roost”.
She has given evidence under oath to the Afghan Inquiry and has now been interviewed by @thetimes

Pregnancy tests draw a misleading, somewhat arbitrary, binary between a state of being pregnant and not being pregnant. You can be kind of pregnant, a little bit pregnant, or almost pregnant, or maybe pregnant, and still test positive for pregnancy. Pregnancy tests, particularly at-home urine tests, capture a moment in time at which an embryo has implanted and is interfacing with the uterus in some way. “We define how we understand the beginning of pregnancy based on this snapshot, but such a freeze-frame contains limited information,” Apoorva Tadepalli writes. Catholicism is sinister.
It appears so godly through its traditions, architecture, and ceremonies, but it misses the whole point of Christianity: that our works can't get us to Heaven, and only repentance and faith in Jesus can (Eph. 2:8-10).
Flee the Catholic church.
Notice he says “resident” here and not “citizen”.
That’s because if you have an address in Texas, you are a Texas “resident.” That’s does not make you a citizen.
Ben - a Harvard educated lawyer - knows this, but is pretending that they are the same.
Texas state law requires that 90% of the total freshman class come from Texas residents. UT must automatically admit the top 5-6% of every graduating high school class. About 4% of undergraduate students are international.
