I love how Phillies fans love to say Alec Bohm is the problem when he was 2nd on the team in batting average in 2025, 3rd in 2024, 2023, and 2022. He is an above average hitter, he just isn’t a good cleanup hitter. Bohm is a great 6-7th hitter, but the Phillies have no other elite bats to put ahead of him so he’s forced to bat cleanup, and then Phillies fans expect cleanup numbers out of a guy who shouldn’t even be batting in that spot.
