[Long Post]
They have limited the survey for members only, so I have no choice but to post this here.
I want a few fan-led organisations to understand a bit of reality and come back from La La Land. It was always going to be a struggle to get out of the mess the Glazers put us in. It was always going to take extreme measures like staff redundancies, ceasing non-footballing fundings like charities, etc., to put the money back into where it matters the most: football operations.
When the football starts getting better, when we start winning trophies regularly, we can organically grow our revenue and resume all non-essential activities. That's how you save a struggling business: you stop all extra spending and put all your cash into what really matters.
The job Ineos/people appointed by them have on their hands is mind-numbingly complicated, and I don't envy them one bit. They need to win now and also set up a solid business for the future, plus find money for a new stadium. As level-headed adults with a functioning brain, the least we can do is understand the situation.
I don't agree with everything Ineos and Ratcliffe are doing; I have criticized them plenty, but I can also see why they are doing it. Going after the only person who is trying to get rid of the Glazers and the mess they have put us in, the only person who has invested his own money into the club, was always going to be a big no for me.
If you ask these organisations what they want, they will say all those things, like debt-free Utd, freezing ticket prices, a new stadium, and hundreds of millions of pounds spent on the transfer market every season. If you ask them how we plan to get there, there is no answer.
They still think a billionaire will magically appear, wave his magic wand, and our problems will magically disappear. I hate to disappoint them, but that's not happening in the real world. There is no good option other than Ineos/Ratcliffe. Qatar said all those fanciful words, and it might have turned some heads, but they failed to provide proof of funds. Sheikh Jassim failed to turn up at OT. The only other option was minority hedge funds who were going to strip the club down to its last assets. Surely a guy who has invested $300m of his own money is better than someone who wants to sell the land around OT for profit?
Please fight for the right issues. I fully support matters like ticketing and prices, unfair seat relocations, etc. However, if you attack Ratcliffe for any and everything, you are going to lose support. Give him time to at least see out his vision. You can come out with pitchforks later.
@barneyrednews@O2@DementiaUK@O2@alzheimerssoc And now 10 days later you increase the amount and send more threatening letters. You truly are awful.
The debt is paid you have proof ,. Next time we will be suing you for harrasing him and wasting OUR time.
Hey @O2@DementiaUK .
My father has dementia. @O2 are threatening to sell my fathers "debt of £29" to a debt agency.
You cannot provide any evidence when requested of why he allegedly owes this money.
