@iamrodneysmith@WhiteHouse I just re-shared a lot of this amazing patriot’s postings. If President Trump hears about this man and what he is doing with young patriots and helping Veterans nationwide, I’m sure that he would sign his mower for him.
@iamrodneysmith@WhiteHouse When you make it to DC, dinner’s on us (and we’ll provide transportation). God bless you for setting such a great example! 🇺🇸
Dear @WhiteHouse, my name is Rodney Smith Jr., founder of Raising Men & Women Lawn Care Service in Huntsville, Alabama. Through our 50 Yard Challenge, over 6,000 kids across the country have signed up to mow free lawns for the elderly, disabled, veterans, active-duty military, first responders, and single parents. With America celebrating its 250th birthday this year and me also being born on July 4th, I wanted to humbly ask if a few kids from our program and myself could travel to Washington, D.C. to help mow the White House lawn for this historic celebration.
More than anything, I want these kids to see how a simple act of service something as ordinary as mowing a lawn for someone in need can lead to extraordinary places. What better lesson in community service than showing them that helping others can take them all the way to our nation’s capital? I’d also love to bring my American flag-themed mower in hopes that the President might sign it, so I can later auction it off and donate 100% of the proceeds to a nonprofit supporting veterans. It would be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to highlight the importance of service, patriotism, and the impact young people can have when they choose to make a difference. 🇺🇸
48 ARRESTED IN MASSIVE TEXAS METH STING
Nearly 80 pounds of methamphetamine, 300 grams of cocaine and 10 firearms were also seized as ICE HSI with its state, local and federal partners dismantled a large-scale methamphetamine trafficking network in the Concho Valley region of Texas.
“What we face today is more complex, more violent and more interconnected than ever before,” said ICE HSI San Angelo Resident Agent in Charge Juan Lujan. “@HSTFNCC comes here as a significant federal partner to contribute to the incredible work already being done on the ground by our state and local law enforcement partners.”
Summer break is for most kids across the country !Will your kids be signing up for the 50 yard challenge ? This unique opportunity allows kids to step up and make a real difference in their communities. By signing up, your child will embark on a journey starting with a white shirt, tasked with mowing, raking, shoveling, and tidying up for the elderly, disabled, single parents, and veterans—all free of charge.
As they progress through their 50-yard mission, they’ll earn new colored shirts for every set of 10 lawns cared for—orange, green, blue, red, and ultimately, black. Completing all 50 lawns earns them not just the black shirt but also a personal delivery of brand-new lawn care equipment from me! It’s a rewarding challenge that builds character, skills, and community spirit. So, talk with your child about becoming a part of this fantastic initiative this summer.
