@CardinalWolsey1@deathofbuckley I was admitted pre labour with my first son due to high BP. Didn’t realise there was a scrum for lunch & arrived in the dining room too late - was offered a baked potato with a filling of mashed potato. Soon after I thought I was in labour but it was actually trapped wind😖💨🤣
@AndyWidnes@ThreeWordsWork@markjenkinsonmp His constituency encompasses a lot of Allerdale, not just Workington - I was appalled when he was voted in, and continue to be appalled by boorish behaviour like this. He doesn’t represent me or any of my values and tonight is just embarrassing, as one of his constituents
@BBCRadioScot@bryanb1965 V late to the show as been running round Buttermere on a glorious evening. Hue and Cry’s cover of Kate Bush’s The Man With The Child in his Eyes is a beautiful version
@pt_steveb Fewer events, as everything stopped early on. Virtual ultras are 100k (3weeks to do that which is fine) +144k in 12 days which will be more challenging, keeping it up for 12 days in a row and bit of a coward about running in the dark! First one starts today so off to do HM now!
@pt_steveb Well done. I’ve got a collection of lockdown virtual bling which I’m proud of, managing keeping myself motivated when I’ve been shielding alone. Finishing (I hope!) the year with two virtual ultras!
This #WorldMentalHealthDay comes in a year of trauma, disruption and sadness for so many. Never forget the power of being outdoors with those you care about to reset, restore and recharge. In beautiful places it’s easier to think good thoughts than bad. #LakeDistrict
@MattEdmondson I’ve never heard anyone else express, let alone in a song, that feeling of fear and powerlessness of having to get in a car with an alcoholic parent driving. Those opening lines took me right back. Thank you for sharing- a very brave, powerful and beautiful song.
