@StateFarm the changes in the Drive Safe and Save app are going to put vulnerable people at risk. When the app was separate, only the driver could see route data. Now that it's merged with the State Farm app, all named insureds can see this data.
This is a serious problem in cases of domestic violence, where a fleeing spouse can be tracked right to a shelter, or a family or friend's house. This can put many people at risk. I ask that you remove location data from the State Farm app.
The teen affected by the avian flu is critical in the ICU.
No one is using airborne precautions.
Imagine how many people this could spread to.
WTF are we doing ?
Have we literally learned nothing the last 5 years ?!??
I'd say that maybe this would make the authorities WAKE THE F UP and start rolling out countermeasures NOW......but....our history with COVID shows that even freezer trucks full of dead bodies didn't inspire right action.....
B.C. teen with bird flu is in critical condition, says health officer
“It’s likely that the teenager contracted the illness from exposure to an animal or the environment, although there’s a “very real possibility” that the source will never be found”

Some folks think I am wrong about COVID.
Not that it's bad or dangerous but just in general how it works.
But last year we asked the FDA to approve extra access to Novavax because I had a hunch that it would help with persistent virus because of how multiple shots boost antigenic range...
Which should include older persistent variants.
And it works... while it's not 100% recovery, it does help a lot... some more than others, but it helps.
It helps because my theory on persistence is correct.
Now I see posts almost every day on multiple platforms of folks seeing improvements from this effect.
And that's treating Long COVID.
So, when I say theory matters, it's literally life or death.
The food recall piece I just mentioned made me want to dig into the data. Look at how much it has happened since the start of COVID. More evidence of bad cognition and decision making?

“We will have a bird flu pandemic,” says Redfield. It’s a question of when, not if. https://t.co/h9boLTnxlZ
