Penchant for growth

If you go looking for the meaning, this refers to a strong natural inclination, or innate preference, for growth and development.

There is a tree in my area which symbolizes this like anything - through the natures inclination to adapt and grow this tree with all its branches cut, showed new small branches and leaves. By definition it is not a beautiful tree with dense foliage but I just love looking at it for its penchant of growth
