@tonykatz What I'm saying is actually part of the problem. On the flight deck is a maintenance log. It may say "Vibration in #2 engine. Inspected." That maintenance person, per FAA regulations, can srill call the craft flight worthy. The pilot can't say it isn't.

@tonykatz Maintenance decides if the bolts are an issue on an aircraft. Pilots are not trained or FAA certified to make that call. I get your rant, but that's like saying "The kid at Crew carwash should know the car needed the rear differential fluid changed"
