@Andy_G_Collie I build it myself using the Zwift customers workout feature. You should be able to do the same using the warm-up ramp. Or DM me and I can send you the file.
@newkarl1@USW_SPEX Sorry for the typos. I just finished a ride. Yes it’s a long standing interest of mine. Scientists tend to talk of statistically significant gains. Cyclists typically want to know how much fitter they can get.
@b477rj @gcntweet@si_richardson Yes, indeed. FTP is one of a few different ways to approach this. Actually I'm going to include a 5-min effort in my training vlog soon.
Time to exhaustion at FTP varies according to performance level, with pro's lasting 16 min (45%) longer than recreational cyclists on average. https://t.co/avzFY85XHe
@ConsultingCso @gcntweet@si_richardson The influence of mental fatigue on tasks like this is probably very important. @SamueleMarcora has done great research on this.
@sethstarkadder5 @gcntweet@si_richardson I will also gives some comments on what I am doing and I hope that the whole process provides some useful food for thought.
@sethstarkadder5 @gcntweet@si_richardson Thanks @sethstarkadder Watching myself back I seem to have a bigger suffering grimace than I realised. I'll try and smile more. :-) I don't think there's one "right" way to improve FTP or durability. I will continue to vlog what I do in training - not necessarily an endorsement
@Petegun Oh boy, I was going a lot slower than you and managed to avoid fracturing my skull and scapula as you did. I'm glad to hear you've recovered. Thanks for letting me know about the comments, I think I've fixed that now.
