Some pick it up later just by being around other gay men (why straight guys in theatre often sound gay)

@MAttack45 @horrormuseum It's not that Whale was gay but that he allegedly intentionally included gay subtext in his films. I don't see it as much in Invisible Man or Frankenstein -but it is pretty overt in Bride of Frankenstein (for a film of that time released under the strict rules of the Hays code)

@BikeMan As someone who was also a teenager in the 90s, there were plenty of teens who dismissed music that was mainstream enough to be played on the radio almost on principle... They were the ones who shopped at local record stores and read Spin magazine.

I just think 80+ year old presidents is something we need to stop doing regardless of what party they belong to or what gender they are.
