We definitely traded some big pieces but as new guys come in, the moores, lardisis, boisverts will start play more desperate and hopefully that just raises the standard. Levshy needs to do what he did early in the year. He got so predictable as season went on. Rinzel needs to put on 10 lbs because he was getting tossed around. Future is bright
Literally in this boat right now. It’s a daily mental battle. Scared of losing my clients, the relationship with them, my routine, etc. Even though I’ve already experienced long term clients stopping and life moves on. In my mind, once I find my partner it’ll make the sacrifice worth it haha
@BlackhawksFocus Didn’t watch the third but saw highlights. Frondell looks great offensively but he cost us 2 goals defensively. Can’t really blame him 5 games in.
Blash needs to establish some more physicality across the entire group.
Good to see the boys being much more physical today.
Offense is still one and done on dump ins.
Defense played really well.
We have a solid blue line so we just need blash to develop a good system for the boys on offensive dump ins. Should be easier to do with Frondell next season.
We’re really bad at board battles and forechecking outside of a few guys.
Vlasic needs to rally the D men and encourage them to take more shots from the point like he has been.
Franky needs to lose the butterfingers. Yeah he scored, but he could’ve had a hatty.
I think frondell will show a lot of our forwards what a power forward looks like and we will hopefully have some physicality next season.
Also, why do I feel like we’ve had like zero rebound goals?
You look at the top 3 in the central and yes they all score dazzling goals, but they also suffocate defenses with constant point shots, rebounds, physicality, etc..
I’m happy to have a mid ranked PK next season if it means our guys are creating some O zone chaos
I remember when blashill got hired the only accolade that stood out were the defensive stats (goals against, PK).
He’s shown to establish that in Chicago, but we need offense too.
We have no semblance of a forecheck, powerplay, D men shooting from the point, net front presence.
Overall, this was a solid season for the boys, but I want to see some offensive flare next season.
Bedard plays his heart out even at 4-0, but he won’t keep this up if he sees that the coach is doing nothing to develop the offense.
If you take away Bedard and Kaiser, our third best guy is Micky and that’s a problem😂.
Commesso seems very poised and I felt comfortable when Utah was pressuring us towards the end of the 3rd.
Rinzel is charmin ultra soft.
Nazar is not allowed to celly that hard after fumbling a breakaway from our blue line.
Good game
@BlackhawksFocus Funny how Bedard scored from the point to tie it. None of our dmen take quality point shots. The young guys who are supposed to lead this team are still scared so i literally think it just comes down to maturing
Mangiepaine is definitely cursed. Dude made a great wrap around and had a wide open net and waited too long. If he puts that in it’s a 4-4 game and we definitely at least grab a point.
Bedard looks incredible. I really hope one of our top prospects is a gamer who has that “it” factor.
@BenPopeCST On the flip side, we’re being outplayed and deserve to lose these games by 3 goals.
Our team is so young. Give Bedard the C and maybe that’ll uplift the young guys to play meaningful hockey.
@BlackhawksFocus Burky had the Olympic break to reset and he’s shown nothing.
Nazar is fast but predictable.
Levshy needs to shoot.
Rinzel is soft.
Really hoping frondell and kantserov can develop quick
Hear me out….
We know Panarin only wants to play in major U.S. cities.
He signs a 2 years hiatus deal in LA so the Blackhawks can finish up their rebuild.
2028-29 he signs a 3-4 year deal in Chicago with prime Bedsy, Franky, Kansterov, Frondell.
We 3 peat and Panarin takes the first flight out to Moscow.
#Blackhawks
@BlackhawksFocus Blash needs to just have our guys work on board battles all practice (except micky line lol). If we win battles, get more point shots, we will get bounces & confidence.
Look at every top team and their top lines work the corners.
