Just booked for London Calling in March! https://t.co/rFy5PZk5Hd

@ASUSUK - grappling with 2 programs- were working on 2017 asus now not. Rang ASUS helpdesk in case they could help- their advice? contact developers who wrote the programs. Seriously? Really unhelpful and sounds quite sarcastic...I would have prefered 'sorry we can't help you'

I had my first 'live Twitter interview' today! https://t.co/w5m6sFk0ws

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures Thanks. It's been a pleasure to talk to you.

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures Do your research. Prioritise the different tasks you need to do – there won’t be time to do all of them. And don’t forget to look after yourself as well as looking after your business. #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures After moving from California back to England in June 2017, I studied very hard and passed a tough 4-hour certification exam in order to qualify as an Official Salesforce Trainer. This opened lots of doors for me. #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures I build databases and train others to build databases. Currently I teach online and have trainees in the US, The Netherlands and here in England. I’m also returning to web design work. And in my spare time (!), I’m working on a novel. #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures Right now, word of mouth and recommendations. Also people have found me on LinkedIn. #MIVReveals

[Mi Ventures @Myincventures]

@training_clare Thanks for joining us today Clare Ramsaran. Could you firstly just explain to us what it is you do? #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures I’m a Consultant, primarily focused on working with the #Salesforce Database. Currently I’m training others to be Database Administrators and preparing them for a certification exam. #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures Absolutely! The person I spoke to was knowledgeable and helped me think through what I needed to find out next. #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures I was actually looking online for information about attending the business advice centre at Manchester Central Library and the chat box appeared on my screen so I thought I’d give it a go - I’m glad I did! #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures It was very helpful. The person at the other end was clearly an expert who had experience of running a business and he was very thorough and clear in responding to all my questions. #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures Paperwork and regulations – trying to find out whether the sole trader or limited company route was best for me in my situation and the implications of the different choices. Also negotiating contracts. #MIVReveals

[Clare Ramsaran @training_clare]

@Myincventures I love training and I love building databases! My current work allows me to do both. I worked in a similar role within organisations in San Francisco and Silicon Valley. I took the leap a few years ago to become a consultant. It’s been working out very well so far. #MIVReveals

[Mi Ventures @Myincventures]
