Two candidates from @NewquayCFRS continued their Incident Command development this week with input from WM Murt and WM Collins. Scenarios created to encourage decision making under pressure which also involved multi-agency assistance from @LostwithielTSSO and @StDennisTSSO

ICS on the IOS! Day 4 of our Incident Command requalification course. This has been such a rewarding visit and itβs great to provide face to face training using our XVR equipment ππ₯
This weekend training instructors visited St Mary's on the IOS & spent 2 days working with firefighters from all islands. Entrapment by vehicles and working at height including confined spaces. The islands will be getting busy soon so skills are honed and ready for action.
Third day of our latest Incident Command acquisition course. Virtual training with thanks to @XVRsimulation and @ChaosGroupUK before the candidates head outside for practical scenarios tomorrow. Potential @CornwallFRS leaders take their first step!
@royalrufc@CallingtonCFRS@CornwallFRS Hi Andy. The test comprises of carrying a variety of fire service equipment over a 'shuttle course' as well as some running. It takes approximately eleven minutes. All staff in Cornwall are required to pass this or a standard bleep test every year. Hope this is helpful!

What a difference a day makes! Along with our friends from @CHAOSTVUK we have been busy installing our new XVR suite! This new technology will support our Incident Command courses and will soon allow us to introduce a virtual reality experience!
