This was my 3rd year visiting this event. It is the only anime convention to be held outdoors in ๐ธ๐ฌ. This was held at Gardens by the Bay as one of the top tourist attractions.
This event consists of different varieties of Japanese culture. From the viewing of the Sakura flowers at the Flower Dome to arts & creativity, cosplays and J-pop performances.
My main focus at anime events is watching idol group performances. This has been my favorite interest for the past 8 years since my first visit to an AFA event.
Last year after saying goodbye to my long time favorite idol group, I met 2 active idol groups: SAKURADOLL and Lollipop [ใใใฝใคใท!!!!!!!]
This year, I met another 2 new idol groups: SEIREI SHIMEI JOSHI [SSJ] and SugarNote.
Like the other idol groups mentioned, they showcase their own theme of their musical performances. This is also their first time performing at a major event since their formation. Both groups performed 2 of their debut songs. SAKURADOLL made their 2nd year appearance at this event.
It has been a favorable experience for me at this event despite having to watch their performances under the hot weather and extreme conditions.
I hope to see more of their upcoming work throughout the rest of the year. ๐

These 2 top players have went through dark and difficult times of their career have worked extremely hard with their teams including their family fighting for their ultimate goal to the day where they would eventually become a major champion for the first time. ๐
