It's not just about grieving what we've lost-- it's about grieving who we were, and who we never got to be.

BPD 'traits' is not a diagnosis. Either give a diagnosis or don't refer to bpd at all. Self harm is self harm it isn't a 'BPD trait'.

BPD traits is a meaningless phrase designed to get BPD in by the back door and without accountability.

BIL (85, glaucoma) new swollen gungy eye with some vision loss yesterday. Rang GP: advised Eye Casualty, 2-bus journey away. Nurse reprimanded him & sent him away 'Not emergency'. Eye not examined. 2 buses home. Pharmacist today advised GP or Eye Casualty... #GoingRoundInCircles

I remember the 1st time I was in crisis. I was so scared, I didn’t know what was happening. My OH calling drs, drs calling crisis team followed by home treatment. Today, overwhelmed by the same feelings, /1

STOP LEAVING MENTAL HEALTH TRUSTS TO CARRY OUT REVIEWS INTO THEMSELVES 🤦 Where a toxic culture exists within a Trust, it goes all the way to the top. Services cannot be trusted to inspect and review themselves. There would be no benefit to them finding fault with themselves.
