NYC is finally getting its FIRST modern light rail line 🚆

The Interborough Express would create something New York has never had before: a direct rail connection between Brooklyn and Queens that doesn't require going through Manhattan.

The project would:
👥 Serve 900,000 residents
🔄 Connect to 17 subway lines
🚉 Link with the LIRR
⏱️ Cut some trips from over an hour to minutes

The wildest part? It uses an existing rail corridor that’s been sitting there for decades.

This is the type of project that reminds you New York is still playing an entirely different game than the rest of America.

Baptisée « Theodora » du nom de Theodora Acham, première conductrice de tram à Graz en 1988.

Ce fut aussi l’occasion de dévoiler la nouvelle voix des tramways de Graz.

Seit heute gibt es wieder Straßenbahnen auf der Marzahner Brücke. Ab Samstag Betriebsbeginn dann auch mit Fahrgästen.
Diese temporäre Streckenführung auf der Straßenbrücke wird in dieser Form so bis etwa Jahresende 2027 benutzt werden.
