❄️UP TO 70 INCHES of PURE POWDER has already fallen in the Sierra Nevada, with another 1–2 feet of Snow still to come today.
Snow has been absolutely PUKING over the last 24 hours, with near-constant rates of 1–2 inches per hour. More than 2 FEET has fallen in just the past day alone. Truly unreal.
Ski resorts have been getting CRUSHED. Here are some of the biggest 24-hour totals:
❄️ Sugar Bowl Resort: 30"
❄️ Mammoth Mountain: 24"
❄️ Bear Valley: 24"
❄️ NorthStar California: 23"

Many resorts are temporarily closed due to extreme snow and wind, but once things reopen… it’s going to be an absolute gold rush to the mountains for this fresh powder.
🚗I would still avoid Traveling today in the mountains if you can. Its going to be awhile until the Roads are passible in many areas.
Skiers, this is what dreams are made of ❄️🎿
