Hello, I am Sakeenah🤭
I am a creative writer, content writer, student journalist and award-winning public speaker. I love reading books and reviewing them. I am a penultimate student of communication and language arts, UI.

I'm going to give you the advice I wish I got.
📍Stay on LinkedIn. Connect with writers, editors, content managers, and founders. Follow people of value.
📍Take courses on SEO writing, content creation, social media marketing, and Ads management. It'll help your business plans.
📍Use your free time to write samples. If you can get up to 10 samples, you're good to go. Post them on your social media platforms.
📍Start pitching brands/businesses. Offer to write 1-2 samples for free, and build your portfolio. It can never be too early.
📍Open a Threads account. Talk about yourself there, and search for job opportunities. It's relatively easier.
📍Follow top creators on X, especially those who talk about writing, earning in foreign currency, and building a sustainable brand.
📍Carry your craft on your head. Don't be shy or ashamed to talk about what you do.
And finally, try to graduate with a good CGPA. I wish you all the best!
I want us to write four things we are really good at but I will go first.
1. Writing
2. Storytelling
3. Community Building
4. Email copywriting

I've always believed that eradicating femicide starts from the way we raised kids because misogyny doesn't start in a day. In commemoration of the women's history month, I wrote about what we can all do to eradicate femicide. Read here and let me know your thoughts.
Nigeria, where nearly 113-million women and girls live, has just 20 shelters for survivors of gender-based violence. The Netherlands, with a female population of about 20 million, has 5,000.
For @thecontinent_, I wrote about the @HeartsNigeria shelter founded by @bettyabah.
