Hoping I can get my German passport before I have to renew my US passport bc apparently Iβll have to renew as female per current government rules π
Iβve been on T for a full decade and I canβt bring myself to do my weekly shot regularly anymore π«£π«£ like Iβve literally done over 500 injections and I honestly canβt even remember if Iβve done my shot at all in December lol. Is it time for pellets??
Rejected from yet another CRNA program after feeling like I knocked the interview out of the park, I simply do not understand what Iβm doing wrong ππ
Really touched that one of our fellows went out of their way to tell our charge nurse that they were impressed with the way I recognized and managed a decompensating patient and code π₯Ή we really do never give each other positive feedback and itβs so nice to receive it
Itβs rly something being a leftist trans person living in a swing state where Iβm bombarded with ads using my community as a scare tactic talking point every day π
To add to my already insurmountable levels of stress, Iβm sick, Iβm moving in three days, I have several tasks to check off for my pharm class, and I have a CRNA school admissions interview on Friday that Iβm woefully unprepared for, send help π
Truly hate when a patient crashes and burns after I spent an entire shift with them being βstableβ but concerning enough to make me feel uneasy, like I feel like I actively caused them to circle the drain bc I didnβt work hard enough π«
@lukasronnerMD In addition to regularly talking about Poisieulleβs law, I also mention Pythagorean theorem when teaching USG IV placement and just watch everyoneβs eyes glaze over, Iβm sorry Iβm like this!! π«£π
@swoonganz If Iβm going in with an extra blanket or put on a BP cuff or something I wonβt put on gloves but I will wash my hands with soap and water when I leave that room. I will say I definitely wash my hands at the sink significantly more often than any of my coworkers
I never thought Iβd be the one with family members who are completely delulu about a loved oneβs state of health and goals of care but here we are ππ
@hickamsdictum The worst part is that the required field is followed by an optional field asking if thereβs anything youβd like to share about your gender identity like yeah I would like the option to share nothing at all π
Not even a little bit comfortable telling a Jesuit university my sex assigned at birth on a CRNA school application no thank u (and for some reason itβs a required field π)
