@viktaur27 @Teslarati The rate of improvement from original GPT to GPT-3 is impressive. If this rate of improvement continues, GPT-5 or 6 could be indistinguishable from the smartest humans. Just my opinion, not an endorsement. I left OpenAI 2 to 3 years ago. Am a neutral outsider at this point.

My grandfather, a politician, never failed an election. He had a way of talking to pple as if they had been friends for a long time.
I learned from him to do that systematically, particularly w/disfavored communities.
But I've never repressed my urge to irritate arrogant fucks.
You can try a prompt like "pull the captions from this channel via the YouTube API and organize them into a searchable vector DB" in Codex or Claude Code, and it'll handle the whole thing for you.
In my experience the YouTube subtitles are almost always enough, so you barely even need to transcribe anything. And if they weren't, the agent could just install Whisper and do it all itself.
Imagine spending your whole life becoming an academic expert. Then a random guy online tells you that you are wrong about your own field. And he's right. But you can never admit that. Because it would mean admitting that your life was a lie. That is the dilemma of many academics.
You can intellectually know what consciousness is, like understanding what love is. But the only way to truly understand, is to experience them in as many ways as possible. 🥰😍
