@NortherlyRose My friend’s father is autistic (undiagnosed). (She’s very similiar to me so, probably autistic too) Both suffering from their wife/mother passing last month.
He, in particular, is not doing well.
@m_ashcroft I’ve had some release in jaw release with lymphatic drainage. I have a couple of exercises I do any it does help me.
Disclaimer: my neck posture still needs work. This may well be why these excercises help me. But with a sample size of one, I share in case I’m not alone.
@Finnattentive I’m learning this. It’s a relief not to have to sit through something or read something I don’t enjoy. It’s lovely to be ok with my own taste in media.
Having said that, I haven’t tried Wish. But then, I’m not sure I need to
@naomicfisher This is interesting. It’s made me think of this: my child does maths work every day. It’s timed. I’ve explained that this is so the tutor has another method to see how well he’s dealing with the work. But if he isn’t happy with how fast he does it… it upsets him.
@Saraheboon I cannot co-sign this enough. I have echoes of the same fear and anxiety even being on the same roads that would go to my school. Forced attendance has left deep scars.
I think it’s possibly even worse now as fewer and fewer parents are able to look after their kids during day
@the_wilderless Not always ruthless, and not a book but I recommend the Netflix show Hilda. Those librarians have some void-throwing skills. And in one case, lovely purple and black hair.
@laneybabyart@thisone0verhere I’m think that could be a spinoff series. Children’s libraries! Libraries with decor based on local events! So many possibilities
