@shawnmicallef S Bahn! The U-Bahn is their metro system. The S Bahn is GO Transit but if it ran way more frequently all day and every day and it looks more like a subway line.
@BrydonRobert@julie_liss@jameshamblin Honestly if I have to wear a mask for the rest of my life in public places I'm totally fine with that. Humans need to adapt to societal changes. We have for thousands of years.
@zets_0 @jokerli24158908@nexta_tv You think Putin is dumb enough to send use nukes that could end humanity as we know it? We need to stop being fearful of him.
@alfonso46087188@StephenWickens1@yyzMYA Not as easy as it looks. Richmond Hill corridor is too windy, the Don River poses an issue and CN does not allow electrification in general.
@M561978 @humantransit@NEXTSTL Oh yeah when it comes to transit planning, Toronto is right down there with the USA. But the bus and subway service is significantly better than cities in the USA other than NYC.
@JayBeeGooner Well, I told em. Ontario Line will not relieve Line 1 and 2. Now can we go back to the Relief Line? I don't care how long it'll delay things.
@SwanBoatSteve Montreal too eh. Not to mention they're cutting off their only mainline through Downtown Montreal. Well I guess to their credit, they're getting 100 km of new Metro that puts Toronto's plans to shame but this where zero consultation gets. Angry people knocking down your door.
@StephenWickens1@dave_ings@RM_Transit As much as we love to complain and criticize Toronto Transit. Toronto likely has one of the best bus networks in North America. If not, the world. You can get anywhere into Toronto with frequent bus service.
