Ravneet Singh is our talented Honours student who is interested in developing a case study with newcomer families from India. The central goal of her work is to identify how newcomer families are bridging home experiences in order to sustain their belonging in the new homeland.

The Lab is an avid partner to @UCalgaryEduc Honours Pathway. We believe that an early exposure to research will make undergraduate students’ teaching and learning more meaningful, critical, and collaborative.

This study focused on the ways newcomer students' home language, culture, and religion influenced their learning and how their intersectional identities can cause or disrupt discrimination, or inequalities and injustices.
