The girls are struggling with seasonal depression. Do everything you can to prioritize your mental health even the more during the winter months. Make plans with your friends. Get outside when the sun is shining. Go to the gym. Get a SAD lamp. Take care of yourself sis.

Be intentional/disciplined.
Pray.
Set resolutions if they speak to you & ignore critics.
Find true community & nurture it.

Sending love and healing to Megan Thee Stallion. She literally said “I wish he had just shot and killed me if I had to go through this torture” and she continues to be ridiculed as if being shot wasn’t traumatic enough.
I know wellness can sound like this big concept, but you really can start with just putting yourself first. That’s the first step towards it. The healing, exercise regimen, therapy, healthier relationships, etc. that follows is just a result of consistent self-preservation.
Black History Month is a beautiful time to start doing what many greats we honor didn't have the privilege to, explore healing. So many of our heroes had untimely deaths, overworked themselves, battled mental struggles, and turned to substances. We owe it to them to live better.
I love making New Year’s resolutions in general, but one of my overall goals for 2022 is to be more disciplined. I feel like I have everything I need to be the woman I want to be. I just need to focus.
