My mission is to make app devs make their status bars fully transparent on Android like they do on iOS. Join my cause || throwaway account

@LBPHeretic @hanibioud @GreenShades9 Oh hmm for me, the bottom bar shrinks and only shows the name of the website and has a huge blur behind it (14 pro max) - this is on Safari though. On Chrome, everything disappears except the actual bar

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@LBPHeretic Oh yeah I left the lands last year but I'm still here for the good fight! Seems like we're seeing progress on the front

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

I left Android so naturally Google and Samsung Wallet surpassed Apple Wallet lmfao 🤣

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@LBPHeretic @hanibioud @GreenShades9 No, you can do either only bottom nav bar or have both Top and bottom navbars. Like with Samsung Internet. I think this is the most effective method

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

It's one of the best features about iOS but even Apple isn't pushing their devs enough to have it be more implemented 🤦🏽‍♂️

[Maaz Perwez @MaazMz]

Live notifications? Why not!

I really like what's being done for One UI 6 so far. Of course it took us 6 years to get here but still. If Samsung ever decides to be serious, we could have greatness

Launched my S10+ for the first time in a month with full battery and the System UI crashed.... ahhh I miss Android sometimes

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@howfxr Whole crew pulled up in the comments 😂

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@attilablenesi @howfxr Make it transparent like it is on iOS pls

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

Has Samsung finally made the Recents screen have the big cards yet?

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

How are things in Android land? I've been enjoying my iPhone I aint gonna lie 😬😅 heard WhatsApp went full-screen for some features finally 🤔 Google phone still with that ugly status bar during calls? 😂

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@BennettBuhner It's been a few months at best. I just noticed but this was def not here in like September

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

GUYS GUYS THEY ADDED THE ANDROID 11 KEYBOARD API ON TWITTER LETS GOOOOOOOO

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@LorshZontek It's nice to have it be the same as iOS

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@kib_48 The API has been around for a few years but Twitter implemented it only recently

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]

@MaazMz It runs smoother in real life too - video isn't HQ. Plus I love that there's also the animation of message bar expanding

[Transparent Status Bars Fan @transparentsbar]
